Device Timeline
The device is the trusted source.
MarineOS should not look like a manual dashboard. The device must prove value by producing reliable data that management can trust every month.

Operation Route Planner
Create a manual multi-point operation route. Each point has a configurable safety radius. Saving creates a Draft; only an authenticated Admin or Port Captain can activate it on Command.
Operation Map Builder
Click the map to add Point 1, Point 2, Point 3, etc. Drag any numbered point to adjust its verified position.
Manual Route Builder
Build a versioned manual route from verified operational points. A saved route remains Draft until authenticated approval.

Hidden / Archived Routes
Hidden routes are saved but not shown on the Operation map or Command map. Restore brings the route back to the available route list.

Trip Counter Engine
GPS packets are checked against the authenticated active route order. The engine counts legs, full trips, skipped stops and route progress. A saved Draft does not count trips until authenticated approval activates it.

Service Hours & Reminder — Device Power Time
MarineOS stores each engine hour separately, but boat service reminders use the highest engine hour. This is safer for twin, triple and quad engine boats because no engine can pass the service interval.

Maintenance Triggered By Device Hours
Work orders are created from real device and service conditions. The hour counter measures device power time.
Summary
Maintenance Defect Log
Use this only when a real defect is reported. Maintenance closes the defect first, then Safety releases the boat.
| Boat | Defect | Severity | Status | Action |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| No defect selected. | ||||
Operating Cost Summary — MASAR-27
Verified monthly totals from device activity and saved Supabase cost records.
Add Operating Cost
Save one dated cost entry against the active production boat. Amounts use three-decimal BHD precision.
Fuel Price Update
Save the effective Bahrain marine fuel price permanently. Monthly fuel cost is an estimate based on verified distance and the configured fuel curve.
Safety Release Queue
Safety only handles active boats sent by Maintenance. Released defects move to History and the professional report.
| Boat | Defect | Severity | Status | Decision |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| No boat pending Safety Release. | ||||
SOS Safety Review
SOS Assist is routed to Safety. It cannot be deleted silently; Safety must acknowledge, close verified, or escalate. Once acknowledged or closed, it clears from Command active items but remains in the report/audit record.
| Time | Boat | SOS Event | Severity | Position | Safety Status | Action |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| No SOS safety review pending. | ||||||
Geofence Safety Review
Critical geofence violations are routed to Safety for acknowledgement, crew explanation, closure, or escalation. This does not automatically stop or release a boat; it creates an auditable safety review.
| Time | Boat | Violation | Severity | Position / Speed | Safety Status | Action |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| No geofence safety review pending. | ||||||
Defect History
Closed and released defects are kept here for review and reporting. They are removed from active action screens.
